This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Doreme website (www.doreme.in), and all associated digital platforms, including any content, features, services, and tools made available thereon (collectively, the “Platform”).

For the purposes of these Terms, the expressions “You”, “Your”, or “User” shall mean any natural person or legal entity who accesses, browses, registers on, purchases from, or otherwise uses the Platform in any manner. Where the User is a minor or otherwise not competent to contract under applicable law, such use shall be deemed to be through a parent, guardian, or other person legally competent to contract, who shall be bound by these Terms on behalf of such User.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Doreme.

Your use of specific services, features, or functionalities available on the Platform may be subject to additional terms, conditions, disclaimers, guidelines, or policies, which shall be deemed to form an integral part of these Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any specific service-related terms (including the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy for matters relating to returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds), the specific terms shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”), along with the other policies referred to herein, apply to all platforms owned, operated, managed, or marketed by Iris Clothings Limited under the brand “DOREME”, including, without limitation, the website www.doreme.in, and any affiliated digital or social media platforms (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

Doreme is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information shared by users while accessing, browsing, registering with, or using the Platform, in compliance with applicable law.

Access to and use of the Platform, and the products and services made available through it, are subject to these Terms of Service. By browsing through these Terms of Service and using the services provided by the Platform, you agree to all Terms of Service along with the Privacy Policy set out herein, which may be updated by Doreme from time to time. Please check this page regularly to take notice of any changes that may be made to the Terms of Service.

Doreme reserves the right to review and withdraw or amend the services without notice. Doreme will not be liable if, for any reason, the Platform is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, Doreme may restrict access to some parts or the entirety of the Platform.

2. Eligibility and User Assurances

By accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are competent to enter into a legally binding agreement under applicable law and that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are below 18 years of age, you may access or use the Platform only through and under the supervision, consent, and control of your parent or lawful guardian, who shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms on your behalf and shall be responsible for your use of the Platform.

You further undertake to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration or order forms on the Platform, and to maintain and promptly update such details submitted by you to ensure that such information remains accurate, complete, and up to date at all times.

Doreme shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, or consequence arising from any false, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information provided by you. Doreme reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform, at its sole discretion, where it reasonably believes that any information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

3. Nature of the Platform / Services

Doreme is an online retailer of apparel and lifestyle products offered at great value to the consumer. Upon placing an order, Doreme.in shall ship the product to you and be entitled to its payment for the service.

Doreme reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to introduce, modify, update, withdraw, suspend, restrict, or discontinue, whether temporarily or permanently, any part of the Platform, including any product listings, features, functionalities, content, services, promotional offers, or user interface elements, subject always to applicable law. Doreme shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance, except to the extent required under applicable law.

For the avoidance of doubt, the availability of any product, feature, or service on the Platform at any particular time shall not create any binding obligation on Doreme to continue to make such product, feature, or service available in the future.

4. Account Registration and Security

Certain features of the Platform may require you to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your username, password, OTP access, and any linked device credentials. All actions carried out through your account are deemed to have been authorised by you unless you notify Doreme promptly of any unauthorised activity. Doreme may suspend or terminate access where it reasonably suspects misuse, fraud, identity manipulation, or breach of these Terms.

By opting to onboard or sign in using the phone OTP method, you explicitly agree and consent to receive the One Time Password (OTP) via WhatsApp to your provided mobile number, if the account is available on WhatsApp.

5. Product Listings and Descriptions (“Exactness of the Product”)

The images of the items on the Platform are for illustrative purposes only. Although Doreme has made every effort to display the colours accurately, Doreme cannot guarantee that your device’s display accurately reflects the colour of the items. Your items may vary slightly from those images. All sizes and measurements of items are approximate; however, Doreme makes every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible.

Doreme takes all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of items are as accurate as possible.

Doreme hereby disclaims any guarantee of the accuracy in terms of finish and appearance of the final product as ordered by the user. The quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Platform may not meet your expectations.

6. Pricing and Charges

Doreme ensures that all details of prices appearing on the Platform are accurate, however errors may occur. If Doreme discovers an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, Doreme will inform you of this as soon as possible. In case Doreme is unable to contact you regarding the price change, your order will be considered as cancelled, and the debited amount will be refunded to your respective account.

Additionally, prices for items may change from time to time without notice. However, these changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched. The price of an item includes GST at the prevailing rate, for which Doreme is responsible as a seller. Please note that the prices listed on the Platform are only applicable for items purchased on the Platform and not through any other source.

7. Order Placement and Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer by you to purchase products from Doreme. Order acknowledgement, invoice generation, or status updates do not by themselves amount to final acceptance. Doreme reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order for reasons including stock unavailability, suspected fraud, unusual order pattern, delivery limitations, pricing error, or inability to verify payment or identity.

8. Payments

Upon receiving your order, Doreme’s payment gateway provider carries out pre-authorisation checks on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. The order shall not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed. Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted. For any further payment-related queries, please check Doreme’s FAQs on Payment Mode.

9. Delivery and Fulfilment

You will be given various options for the delivery of items during the order process. The options available to you will vary depending on where you are ordering from. An estimated delivery time is displayed on the order summary page. On placing your order, you will receive an email containing a summary of the order and the estimated delivery time to your location.

Sometimes, delivery may take longer due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, Doreme will proactively reach out to you by email or SMS. However, Doreme will not be able to compensate for any mental agony caused by the delay in delivery.

10. Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations, and Refunds

If you change your mind about any items purchased, you can return or exchange them with us. For more information on Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds, please refer to our Return-Exchange-Refund-Policy.

11. Promotions and Coupons

All discount codes, coupons, referral benefits, wallet credits, store credits, prepaid offers, loyalty rewards, and similar promotional benefits are subject to the specific terms applicable to the relevant campaign or program.

Doreme reserves the right to modify, suspend, withdraw, cancel, or restrict such benefits at its discretion where misuse, duplication, technical glitches, fraud, ineligible redemption, or breach of offer conditions is identified or reasonably suspected. Doreme may also reverse such benefits, deny redemption, or cancel affected transactions where necessary, subject to applicable law.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, harmful, or disruptive conduct. Without limitation, you must not introduce malware, use bots or scrapers without permission, place fake orders, interfere with the Platform’s security or functionality, manipulate reviews, infringe third-party rights, or attempt to reverse engineer the Platform except as expressly permitted by law.

13. Reviews, Feedback, and User Submissions

If you submit, upload, post, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available any feedback, reviews, ratings, testimonials, comments, suggestions, ideas, photographs, images, videos, or other content on or through the Platform (“User Content”), you represent and warrant that: (i) you are the lawful owner of, or otherwise have all necessary rights, consents, permissions, and authority to submit such User Content; (ii) such User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual property right, privacy right, publicity right, contractual right, or any other right of any third party; and (iii) such User Content does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or code of conduct.

By submitting any User Content, you grant Iris Clothings Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, store, adapt, modify, translate, publish, display, communicate to the public, distribute, and otherwise exploit such User Content, in whole or in part, in any media or format now known or later developed, for the purposes of operating, administering, improving, advertising, marketing, and promoting its business and the Platform, subject to applicable law.

Doreme reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to review, refuse, moderate, remove, take down, or permanently delete any User Content from the Platform at any time, for any reason whatsoever, including where such content is unlawful, misleading, offensive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harmful, inconsistent with these Terms, or otherwise considered inappropriate or undesirable by Doreme. Doreme shall have no obligation to host, display, maintain, or retain any User Content for any specific period and shall not be liable to you for the removal, deletion, or disabling of access to such content.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

All and any intellectual property rights in connection with the products, and all material on the Platform, shall be owned absolutely by Iris Clothings Limited. The content available on the Platform is under worldwide copyright protection laws and is the sole property of Doreme. No right, title, or licence is granted to you except the limited right to use the Platform for personal and lawful shopping purposes. Modification, misuse, translation, or creation of derivative works on the basis of Platform content is strictly prohibited.

15. Third-Party Websites, Content and Services

The Platform provides links for sharing content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other similar third-party websites. These are only for sharing and/or listing purposes, and Doreme takes no responsibility for such third-party websites and/or the content listed thereon, and disclaims all liability arising out of any or all third-party websites.

Doreme disclaims all liability and takes no responsibility for content that may be posted on such third-party websites by users of such websites in their personal capacity via the above-mentioned sharing/listing links, or any content or comments posted by such users in their personal capacity on any official webpage of Doreme on any social networking platform.

Where purchases are made through third-party marketplaces or external platforms, the applicable terms and processes of such marketplace or platform shall apply, and Doreme shall not be responsible for any act, omission, or deficiency of service arising therefrom.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Platform and all related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Doreme does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy of all content at all times, or that the Platform will always be free from bugs, vulnerabilities, or service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

Doreme shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, products, or services. This includes any liability arising from unauthorised access to user data, breach of condition or warranty by a product manufacturer or third party, interruption of the Platform during maintenance or due to technical issues, and any damage or loss resulting from material or data downloaded through the Platform.

Any content or data obtained through the Platform is accessed at your own risk, and you shall be solely responsible for any resulting damage to your device or loss of data. Doreme’s total liability shall in no event exceed the purchase value of the relevant product giving rise to the claim. Doreme shall not be responsible for disputes arising solely between users or with third parties.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Iris Clothings Limited, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms of Service, or infringement of any intellectual property right.

19. Violation, Suspension and Termination

Doreme may, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, terminate your access to the Platform and block your future access if it determines that you have violated these Terms of Service or any other policy incorporated herein. If you or Doreme terminates your use of any service, you shall still be liable to pay for any service that you have already ordered up to the time of such termination.

20. Force Majeure

Doreme shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure in the performance of its obligations under these Terms where such delay or failure arises from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural calamities, strikes, governmental actions, failure of internet or telecommunication services, or failure of courier or delivery networks.

In the occurrence of any such event, Doreme’s obligations shall remain suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and Doreme shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience suffered by the user as a result thereof, except to the extent otherwise required under applicable law.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without reference to conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Howrah, West Bengal.

22. Customer Support and Grievance Redressal

Users may contact the grievance officer or customer support team through the contact details published on the Platform for any complaint, grievance, concern, or request relating to orders, payments, refunds, returns, exchanges, account access, or use of the Platform.

Doreme shall maintain an adequate grievance redressal mechanism and shall acknowledge consumer complaints within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt and redress such complaints within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt, or within such shorter or longer timeline as may be required under applicable law.

In the event any complaint or grievance is not resolved within 30 days from the date of its receipt by the Grievance Officer, the aggrieved user/customer may avail such remedies as may be available under applicable law before the respective consumer dispute redressal forum or other competent authority having jurisdiction.

23. Changes to the Terms

Doreme may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its operations, applicable law, or technology. Any revised version will be posted on the Platform with an updated “Last Revised” date. To the extent permitted by applicable law, your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those revised Terms.
